people have access to life-saving care because of your compassionate support

In 2025, conflict displaced millions more people from their homes. At the very moment needs reached unprecedented levels, much of the global humanitarian system faced profound disruption and uncertainty.

Yet this is precisely where God has always been at work.

Throughout Scripture, we see a God who moves toward those the world has forgotten, bringing healing where there is suffering, hope where there is despair, and dignity where it has been denied.

Because of your faithful partnership, Medical Teams remained present in some of the world’s most difficult places, serving refugees, displaced families, and communities caught in crisis.

In 2025, someone received life-saving health care from our teams every 12 seconds. Every 10 minutes, a baby entered the world safely with the support of our staff. More than 100,000 children suffering from moderate or severe acute malnutrition were treated, with 93% restored to health.

The challenges before us remain immense. But so does the opportunity to bring healing and hope to even more people living at the intersection of conflict, displacement, poverty, and disease.

Thank you for partnering with us in this work. Together, we have the privilege of bearing witness to God’s healing presence in a world that desperately needs it.

Medical Teams International

Daring to love like Jesus, we boldly break barriers to health and restore wholeness in a hurting world.

Healing is more than treating an illness or injury. It’s helping people recover, rebuild, and regain hope. Every day, Medical Teams works alongside communities to make that possible.

Providing Life-Saving Care

Delivering emergency and primary health services to people affected by conflict, disaster, and displacement.

Strengthening Health Systems

Restoring health facilities and equipping local health workers so quality care continues long after the crisis has passed.

Empowering Communities

Helping people gain the knowledge, skills, and support they need to improve health and care for one another.

Before conflict uprooted her life, Asma was a psychologist, a wife, and a mother of five living in Sudan. When war forced her family to flee, they left behind the life they had built together. When they returned, they found a community struggling with trauma, loss, and damaged health services. Determined to help, Asma began volunteering at a local clinic. When Medical Teams rehabilitated the clinic and expanded its services, she joined the team, helping more people access critical mental health care.

Today, she counsels children, teenagers, adults, and families living with PTSD and depression, visits people in their homes, leads community support activities, and helps reduce the stigma surrounding mental health care. Asma’s journey reflects all three areas of Medical Teams’ work. She helps provide life-saving care, serves in a stronger local health system, and empowers her community to heal.

Because of your generosity, Asma is able to continue the work she loves — bringing hope and healing to families across her community.
