Annual Report

A Letter From Eric
Dear friends,
Twenty twenty-four will always hold deep personal significance for me — it’s the year I stepped into my role as President & CEO of Medical Teams International. But more than that, it’s the year I witnessed, firsthand, what happens when people of conviction and compassion come together to bring healing to a hurting world.
I’ve been profoundly moved by the extraordinary courage, resilience, and faithfulness of our teams around the world — people who pour themselves out daily in service of those facing crisis and vulnerability. And I’ve been equally inspired by supporters like you, whose faith, generosity, and commitment make this work possible. You are the reason that, even in the darkest corners of suffering, hope and healing can take root.
Because of your support, 9.6 million people had access to life-saving medical care in 2024. In some of the most difficult places on earth, a baby was delivered every 10 minutes under our care. Globally, we screened 1,839,361 children for malnutrition, and 93% recovered under our care. These aren’t just statistics. They represent stories of life, of resilience, of mothers and fathers whose children were spared, of health and wholeness restored. In many places where we serve, we are the only provider of medical care. And in every place, we are a reflection of your love in action.
As we look ahead to 2025, the need continues to grow — from the horrors of war in Sudan and Ukraine to the devastating famine gripping East Africa. At a time when the world feels increasingly fractured, your generosity is a powerful declaration: that every life matters, and that healing is still possible.
Thank you for standing with us — for being part of this movement of love that crosses borders, breaks through despair, and affirms the inherent worth and dignity of every person we serve.
With deep gratitude,

Eric W. Ha
